Sign Up for the Read It Later API

The API is for developers building applications using Read It Later.
If you are looking for a Read It Later user account, sign-up here.

To use the Read It Later API you need to signup for a (free) API key.

After signing up, you will be given access to a control panel where you can view your app's stats and update your app's information. You can modify your app's information at any time.

Your Application
  • You can change this name later
  • Pages saved from your app will appear with 'saved from APP NAME'.
  • Your name cannot have 'Read It Later' in it. It should be clear to users that it is an independent application. (Read more)
You can build apps for any platform, however, there are two small exceptions for iPhone and Firefox apps. (Read more)
